COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT WITH THE PEOPLE OF DWOMO COMMUNITY

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Collins Offinam Takyi, as part of his commitment to community engagement, visited the Dwomo community to discuss with them the upcoming construction of the Dwomo Durbar grounds. He announced that the Assembly has secured funding from the DACF-RFG to reconstruct the durbar grounds. Given this, it was essential to engage the community in discussions to reach a consensus on how the project should look like.

The MCE acknowledged the potential inconveniences the time needed for the reconstruction the project may cause but reassured the community that efforts would be made to complete it as quickly as possible to minimize disruption.

In response, the community welcomed the initiative and praised the Assembly for undertaking this project. They expressed their commitment to supporting the Assembly throughout the project and pledged to assist the contractor in completing the project on time for use by the community.

Concluding, the Hon. MCE, expressed his gratitude to the community for their warm reception and support for the project. The MCE was accompanied by the Head of Works, Management Information System and an Assistant Director.
